Jodie Kautt is Senior Vice President of Cyber Defense and Fraud at Target. In this role, Jodie leads the Cyber Defense team, including the 24×7 Cyber Fusion Center, which integrates threat intelligence, advanced analytics, and state-of-the-art technology to mitigate cyber threats. She has engineering and development teams responsible for the tools and technologies supporting Target’s Assets Protection organization. In 2021, Jodie expanded her responsibilities to lead the newly formed Fraud organization. Leveraging cyber defense capabilities, to build a multi-layered approach to identify and proactively create solutions to prevent fraud across physical and digital channels, including gift card scams. Jodie is the executive sponsor for Target’s Women’s Business Council, which fosters an inclusive community that elevates women’s professional and personal potential through advocacy, community and development. Jodie joined Target in 2005 from KPMG, where she consulted with a variety of companies. She is Chair of the National Retail Federation (NRF) Fraud Prevention Professionals Working Group, a member of the Aspen Cybersecurity Group and serves on the Board of Directors for the National Cybersecurity Alliance.
