The presentation will start with a brief overview of what is and is not threat informed defense (TID). Then it will break down the 3 dimensions of TID – CTI, Defensive Measures, and Test & Evaluation – and how to discreetly measure if your team is doing those dimensions, and to what level. I will then introduce a model, called Informer, that allows users to input their org’s TID markers to get an overall TID maturity score that can be assessed over time to show improvement.
The audience will take away 3 things: 1. what is TID, 2. how to measure your TID, and 3. how to improve your TID.
