Chris Lanzilotta

CISO, Home Depot

Chris Lanzilotta is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at The Home Depot where he has been leading the Cybersecurity organization since June 2021. With more than 20 years of cybersecurity experience across a diverse set of industries, Chris has consistently demonstrated an ability to lead successful information security programs at Fortune 500 companies. Chris has experience protecting company, customer, and associate data in the financial, insurance, and healthcare industries – industries that historically require the most stringent data security protocols. During his nearly two-decade tenure at EY, Chris advised and implemented a balanced approach of fundamental IT security programs with emerging cybersecurity threat detection initiatives. Prior to EY, Chris spent five years as the enterprise security architect within a division of Ocwen Financial Corporation, one of the largest sub-services of residential mortgages in the United States. Chris is a graduate of Drexel University and is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM); Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP); and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Chris currently lives in Havre de Grace, Maryland with his two boys, Christopher, and Cole. Chris is a foster and adoption parent and actively supports Autism Awareness efforts. Chris is also a baseball fanatic, loves going out to eat, watching movies and looks forward to learning to play golf one day.
