Chris Weindel is a seasoned Business Information Security Officer at Marriott International, with a proven track record in cyber security and information technology. He has supported and partnered with various businesses on the Revenue teams including Sales, Distribution, and Revenue Management, and is currently supporting the Customer Engagement Centers, focusing on creating and managing their information security program, enabling the business to offer the best customer care.

With over 15 years of experience, Chris has led numerous teams and programs across finance, hospitality, and gaming industries, including Caesar’s Entertainment, Equifax, and The Walt Disney Company. His accomplishments include building programs from the ground up and expanding upon newly-built or conceptual information security and technology programs.

Chris holds multiple certifications from SANS GIAC, ISC2, and even a Master CNE from Novell. He earned his B.S. degree in Security and Risk Analysis from Penn State University. Chris is excited about new technology, passionate about security, and dedicated to mentoring those who wish to enter either field.

Born in New Orleans, Louisiana and a local resident of the St. Louis, Missouri area for over 10 years, Chris enjoys a wide-range of activities, spending time with his family, cooking Cajun food, practicing mixed martial arts, and exploring the Lake of the Ozarks.
