Jesse Lands is the Director, Incident Response with United Airlines. He has been working in IT and Information security for over 20 years now with roles managing an MSSP SOC, acting CISO, Security Researcher, Consultant, Incident Response and Forensics. Jesse has extensive experience in network and host-based forensics, Incident Response Investigations, malware analysis, attack and malware infection research. Jesse first cut his teeth with Information Security in the early 90s. His small high school had a dozen Novell Netware/286 computers in a “typing lab” connected to two additional computers in the library through a token ring cat 2 over IPX. Security was not even a consideration at the time and Jesse easily took over the administrator account without even realizing what was going on. The next several days were spent harassing teachers and other students through the computers they were working. When he is not spending time with his family or traveling his hobbies include reading, bodybuilding and honeypots.
