Mike discovered his passion for cybersecurity while cleaning malware off of computers while working for the Geek Squad at his local Best Buy and has since worked in various roles in the industry over a 12 year career. He has architected and deployed almost every type of security solution, built and managed multiple Security Operations teams, and has been a leader within various threat intelligence and incident response organizations. He is a passionate blue teamer who strives to bring impactful change to organizations by improving their resilience and their collective ability to triage security events, malware analysis and successfully identify and evict threat actors. In his current role with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Mike leads the team responsible for detection engineering, curating and producing tactical and strategic threat intelligence products and oversees the cyber incident response lifecycle.
